Cornus kousa chinensis

Dogwood

An elegant tree, very often a show stopper when in its prime. Spectacular white bracts fading pink over a considerable period from June into early July, followed by strawberrylike fruits.

One of the best forms is to be seen at RHS Wisley now named C. kousa var.chinensis ‘Wisley Queen’.
