Directions

Berrington Court is close to Tenbury Wells in the Teme Valley, about 15 miles south west of Kidderminster, about 20 miles north west of Worcester, 30 miles south of Shrewsbury,
and 18 miles north east of Hereford.

From the M5 leave at junction 6 (northbound) or junction 5 (southbound).

In both cases head for Ombersley at the junction of the A449 and the A443. Then follow the directions as from Worcester in paragraph 2 below.

1.  Coming from Kidderminster: take the A456 to Tenbury Wells, turning left into town just after the fire station on your left.

Cross the River Teme, drive down the main street, turning right at the end in the direction of Leominster.

As you climb the hill you will pass Tenbury High School on your left, the Fountain Inn on your right.

Drive across the common in the direction of the large Church you’ll see ahead of you.
This is St Michael’s. Turn right here, drive for about a mile and you will find us on the right.

2.  Coming from Worcester: take the A443 for 17 miles to Newnham Bridge then the A456 to Tenbury Wells. Then follow the steps in paragraph 1.

3 Coming from Shrewsbury: take the A49 south for 17 miles (Church Stretton, Craven Arms bypass Ludlow) to Woofferton. At the Salwey Arms turn left onto the A456 to Tenbury Wells. Turn right
into town and then as in paragraph 1.

4. Coming from Hereford: take the A49 north for 11 miles to Leominster. Travel 1 1/2  miles beyond Leominster on the A49 then turn right onto the A4112 for 5 miles to St  Michael’s.
Turn left here, drive for about a mile and you’ll
find us on the right.

HGVs and a winter warning for all drivers

Most satellite navigation will take you up the Berrington Road from Tenbury Wells. There are blue signs to warn HGV drivers of this roads unsuitability but all drivers are warned that in icy conditions this road is very treacherous. Be advised to follow our directions here that will take all traffic via St. Michaels Church.
