Variety photo

Prunus Fragrant Cloud (Shizuka)

A spectacular vigorous grower with a spreading, slightly ascending habit.

The huge clusters of large, white, semi-double flowers are borne in profusion in May and turn pinkish as they age.

They are also slightly scented, an unusual feature for a flowering cherry.

Soft tones of orange leaves persist well into the autumn.
