Acer shirasawanum 'Autumn Moon'

Description: Acer shirasawanum 'Autumn Moon', also known as Moonrise or Fullmoon Maple is a bushy tree which creates dramatic spring greenish-orange foliage. In the autumn the leaves turn to burnt-orange and red. Cream and pink flowers appear in the spring, and are held in upright spreading clusters followed by winged greenish-brown fruits.

Acer Growing Tips: Very easy to grow in a wide range of well-drained soils. They thrive in sun but with partial shade to protect the leaves from scorch. A sheltered area away from strong winds is preferred.
