Description: Lingonberry is a bushy, evergreen shrub that bears edible fruit. Berries are large, dark red in colour that carry a sweet but acidic flavour and are highly nutritious. The fruits appear in late summer and sometimes again in the autumn. Delicious cooked into jams and puddings. White to pink bell-shaped flowers appear in late spring.

History: Originates from North America.

Lingonberry Growing Tips: Will tolerate a wide range of soil types, but prefer moist well-drained conditions. Happiest in a sunny location, but will also grow in partial shade. Can be planted at any time of the year into the ground or a container.
