Acer palmatum ‘Shaina’ Japanese Maple

Description: Leaves emerge bright red, deepening in colour throughout summer then turning bright crimson again in autumn. In shadier conditions, some leaves may have a greenish tint. Slow growing variety making an ideal selection for containers or small gardens.

Acer Growing Tips: Very easy to grow in a wide range of well-drained soils. They thrive in sun but with partial shade to protect the leaves from scorch. A sheltered area away from strong winds is preferred.
