Description: Commonly known as Weeping Nootka Cypress is a medium sized, upright, evergreen conifer which has long, spreading branches with trailing dark grey-green, drooping curtains of foliage. Received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.

Chamaecyparis Growing Tips: Plant in a warm, sunny area of the garden with moist, well drained soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils. Young plants require some protection against severe frost. Frost damage is more likely to occur in dry soil.
