Description: Impressive 10" wide flowers, lavender-pink on the outside and white within. Flowers from an early age and is fairly vigorous making an upright, branching, small to medium sized tree.

History: Registered by Frank Galyon of Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1975.

Magnolia Growing Tips: Full sun to part shade lover, best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Provide sheltered site as buds and flowers may be damaged by cold winds, and late frosts. Shape and size can be controlled by pruning which should be done either immediately after flowering or during late summer.
