Description: A vigorous medium-sized deciduous tree of compact habit with scarlet-orange winter stems. Small, yellow catkins appear in the spring alongside new mid-green, narrow foliage.
History: Raised from seed at Britz in Germany.
Salix Growing Tips: Suitable for damp places especially. Position to highlight winter sun on stems. Hard pruning in early spring is recommended of those grown for their winter stem colour.
