Tree Shop Sales Assistant We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Tree Shop Sales Assistant to join our retail team. This customer facing role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a passion for plants and gardening, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting trees and plants suited to their needs and gardens. Provide basic plant care and planting advice. Maintain a tidy, well-presented retail area. Support daily retail operations including sales transactions and stock handling. Help with moving, watering, and caring for trees on the sales area. Skills & Experience Required Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills. Interest in gardening, trees, or horticulture (experience desirable but not essential). Basic computer literacy, including confidence using tills, card machines, and simple systems (training provided). Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Physically able to assist with moving plants and stock. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Working Conditions Full-time, based at the Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire nursery. This role includes working Saturdays on a rota basis. Full training will be provided. Occasional travel required for trade and consumer events. We are looking for full-time permanent staff to support tree production at our nursery in Worcestershire. No experience is required as full training will be provided. Spend your working days outside, growing and nurturing trees. Work with an incredible bunch of employees across the business. Working hours at 7.30am – 5.00pm Mon-Thurs and 7.30am -12.45pm Fri.
