Description: Abies koreana Silberlocke is one of the few selections that is ideal for small gardens and spaces. Creates an irregular, broad low growth habit which gives an interesting bushy and conical shape. Stunning twisted leaves creating a silvery appearance. Large purple cones appear in the spring and develop from a very young age.
History: Originates from Germany. Received an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
Abies Growing Tips: Easy in most conditions and in any reasonably well-drained soil, other than shallow chalk. Prefers to be planted in an open, sunny position.
