Christmas Fair, Fun For All

We hosted our second Christmas Fair last weekend at the Tree Shop and it was a huge success! Following on from the first Christmas Fair last December which attracted over 300 people. This year over 1200 people came along for the day. The event started at 11am and rounded off at about 6pm. Providing lots of festive fun for all the family.

Over 30 local stallholders lined our covered plant area with a gorgeous range of goodies. Including cakes, chocolates, woolly hats, willow baskets, bottles of cider and perry, jewellery, cards, calendars and many more seasonal gifts.

Award winning food came from The Beefy Boys who served delicious burgers, fries and other takeaway treats. Also on offer was Divine Donuts, Evie Bakes cakes and cookies as well as the usual scrummy offering from our own Frank’s Kitchen. Mulled wine and cider was available to keep everyone warm, along with a full bar offering a wide range of beverages, ales, lagers, flavoured gins and plenty of soft drinks too.

Christmas Carols were sung throughout the day by local choir Choral Diversity from Leominster adding to the atmosphere. As it grew dark and the Christmas lights shone we had a live band ‘Fix’ performing a set of jolly pop classics encouraging everyone to dance and sing along.

As a special offer, everything in our Tree Shop was 10% off for the day. And we even had Santa visit us on his sleigh with a big sack of presents for all the children! A superb prize of a big Christmas hamper was also given out in our raffle competition.

We would like to thank all of our customers and stallholders who helped make it such a memorable day. We have had lots of lovely feedback and have already decided to host a Christmas Fair again in 2024 so please put Saturday 14^th December in your calendar, it’s an event not to be missed!
