Description: Cupressus nootkatensis 'Green Arrow' is a very narrow, fast-growing form of Nootka cypress with strictly weeping branches and dark, Blue-grey-green open foliage. Its side branches hang closely against the trunk, especially as they mature and is great for small gardens or tight spaces.

History: Buchholz & Buchholz Nursery of Gaston, Oregon introduced this cultivar to the nursery trade in 1984.

Chamaecyparis Growing Tips: Plant in a warm, sunny area of the garden with moist, well drained soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils. Young plants require some protection against severe frost. Frost damage is more likely to occur in dry soil.
