Description: Stunning new variety from the ‘Jury’ stable with a distinctively upright, columnar form. Big, beautiful, and lightly fragrant flowers in a gorgeous shade of claret red cover the tree in early spring.

History: Bred by Mark Jury, son of Felix Jury from Magnolia liliiflora x 'Vulcan'.

Magnolia Growing Tips: Full sun to part shade lover, best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Provide sheltered site as buds and flowers may be damaged by cold winds, and late frosts. Shape and size can be controlled by pruning which should be done either immediately after flowering or during late summer.
