Pinus schwerinii ‘Wiethorst’ Pine

Description: Long blue needles and large conspicuous cones. A beautiful dwarf pine for a sunny position.

History: A witches broom selected by J Wieting, Germany in 1987. The cultivar name is a combination of the names Wieting and Giesselhorst.

Pinus Growing Tips: Requires moist but well-drained soil and a sunny position. Copes with all soil types. Ideal for coastal areas.
