A tree that has been grown in the field and then lifted out of the ground when dormant. Available from November to March. The roots are more open and the direct contact with the soil encourages them to settle in and establish more readily.
These are 2yr old trees that have been grown 1yr in the field and the second in a pot. Container trees can be planted at any time of the year but establish best when planted during the autumn and need to be watered well during the first summer.
A honeyberry bush is very much like a blueberry for looks, taste and habit. Dark blue, bell-shaped berries have a natural thin skin and unique flavour. The fruits can be eaten raw from the bush, or used in jams and jellies. They are also very healthy, the berries are high in antioxidants and vitamin C. Ready to harvest from late spring. An interesting addition to your fruit collection.
Prune out old shoots during the winter to encourage new strong shoots. Plant in a well-drained soil in a full sun position. Honeyberry bush are also known as Honeysuckle. Produce flowers very early in the spring. Very well suited to the UK climate.

Blue/black oblong fruits, similar in eating quality to Blueberries but without the necessity for acid soil. High in vitamin C.
This is a fruiting blue honeysuckle or Haskap. The berries are very high in vitamin C, minerals and antioxidants.
