Description: Acacia bai Purpurea, also known as The Purple Cootamundra Wattle, is a small distinctive evergreen tree with exotic and striking purple and silvery-grey bipinnate fine foliage. Produces racemes of stunning yellow mimosa flowers in the winter and spring. A very special, unique tree that's easy to care for!

History: Originating from Tasmania, Australia.

Acacia Growing Tips: Tolerate poor shallow soils although needs good drainage. Performs well in a sheltered position, ideally against a south-facing wall for optimum protection.
