Parentage: Schneiders Spate Knorpelkirsche x Rube

Description: Regina is a modern late-season variety. Very popular with both commerical growers and gardeners for it's high productivity. Black fruits with sweet and aromatic flavour. Very hardy and disease resistant, some split resistance. Beautiful pure white blossom in the spring! A variety that can cope in pretty much any UK climate, including northern Scotland.

History: Developed in Jork Fruit Experiment Station, Hanover, Germany in 1950 and was later introduced in 1990.
