Description: Mariri Red has an attractive dark red colour with very firm flesh, and sweet, sharp flavour, typical of Braeburn, but more intense. Prefers to be planted in a sheltered, sunny spot, grown in many different warm-climate areas in the world!

History: A sport of Braeburn discovered in New Zealand as a natural mutation in the 1990’s.
