Honeywood Juneberry

Juneberry

Description: Honeywood produces exceptionally large clusters of  juicy, dark purple coloured berries. Very tasty flavour, fresh and juicy! Can be cooked into all of your favourites at home including: Jam, curds, ice cream, crumble, pies, muffins and chutneys. Very high in anti-oxidants and their nutritional value is well documented. A compact bush with high productivity. Harvest in early summer. Beautiful clusters of white flowers in the spring and orange/red leaves in the autumn.

Juneberry Growing Tips: Can be planted in any good, well-drained soil in a full sun or partial shade location. Their first crop is usually seen after two years of planting. Avoid planting them in a frost pocket. If you would like to eat the fruits yourself, don't forget to cover the plant to stop the birds getting them!
