Description: Bereczki is an old traditional variety. Produces pear shaped fruits that are big, juicy and acidic to taste. Yellow flesh turns reddish when cooked. Delicious cooked into Quince jam, Quince cheese (Membrillo) and Quince jelly.

History: Originated from Hungary during the 19th century.
