Description: Northline is a very popular variety that has superb fruit quality with a wonderful deep flavour. Great yields from young plants. Dark purplish blue berries that can be cooked into many favourite dishes including: Pies, summer puddings and muffins. Stunning tints of orange and red in the winter and heavy clusters of white blossom in the spring.
History: Originates from Alberta, Canada where it was bred by Beaverlodge Nursery during the 1950s.
Juneberry Growing Tips: Can be planted in any good, well-drained soil in a full sun or partial shade location. Their first crop is usually seen after two years of planting. Avoid planting them in a frost pocket. If you would like to eat the fruits yourself, don't forget to cover the plant to stop the birds getting them!
