Betula pendula ‘Golden Fountain’ Betula

Betula

Description: Betula pendula 'Golden Fountain' is an impressive golden leaved form, selected for it's persistent yellowish-golden leaf colours throughout the summer; leaves do not scorch and are of a good size. The creamy-white bark develops black fissures as it matures.

History: The exact origin of this variety is uncertain although it was originally listed in a Monmouthshire nursery catalogue in 2005/06 (now closed).
