Description: Cornus florida Daybreak, also known as Cherokee Daybreak is lovely, upright deciduous shrub with a spreading habit. The oval, beautifully variegated leaves are dark green and edged in white, developing into attractive shades of pink and red in autumn. May and June brings clusters of small green flowers surrounded with four bracts, pure white. A great all round garden plant that can be grown in almost any location.

Cornus Growing Tips: Thrives in fertile, humus-rich, neutral to acid soil. Unsuitable for shallow, chalky soils.
