Description: Forsythia suspensa 'Nymans' is a large spreading, weeping shrub or small spreading, weeping tree. Dark green leaves, that turn yellow with purple tinges in autumn. Larger, bright yellow flowers cover the tree with bloom before the foliage emerges in late winter to early spring.
History: A sport of Forsythia atrocaulis
Forsythia Growing Tips: Ideally they require lime free soil but will do well in moderately fertile, well drained soil in full sun or part shade. Easy to grow and can be pruned after flowering or hard pruned to suit the situation.
