Description: At first, this cultivar has branches that spread almost horizontally. Later hanging down producing a broad weeping shape. Weeping Ginkgo has emerald green foliage throughout the season. The fan-shaped leaves turn an outstanding yellow in the autumn. Neither the flowers nor the fruit are ornamentally significant. Ginkgo are heat tolerant, salt tolerant, and very cold tolerant making them one of the hardiest of all plants.

History: The cultivar name ‘Pendula’ would belong to the clone first distributed by Van Geert’s nursery in 1862.

Ginkgo Growing Tips: Grow in well-drained soil with a full sun position.
