A tree that has been grown in the field and then lifted out of the ground when dormant. Available from November to March. The roots are more open and the direct contact with the soil encourages them to settle in and establish more readily.
These are 2yr old trees that have been grown 1yr in the field and the second in a pot. Container trees can be planted at any time of the year but establish best when planted during the autumn and need to be watered well during the first summer.
Maidenhair Tree
Bark is a dull grey, ridged and fissured. Fan shaped bright green leaves, yellow in autumn. Height after 10 years up to 6m.
Golden Maidenhair Tree
Leathery, green, fan shaped foliage becoming uniform golden yellow in autumn, persisting for several weeks.
Columnar, upright, male form, so does not produce fruit. Rich yellow and golden autumn colours.
Slender, upright tree. Fan shaped foliage is blue-green turning buttery yellow in autumn. Disease resistant.
Delicate maidenhair cut leaves. A neat upright habit and vibrant bright yellow autumnal shades.
Fan-shaped leaves open golden yellow, darkening to green with white variegation, finally turning clear yellow.

Columnar, flat, fan-shaped leaves on semi-erect branches. Small, catkin-like, greenish-yellow male flowers in spring.
A dwarf, low-spreading form that grows very slowly. Small green leaves which turn a golden yellow in autumn.
