Description: ‘Mariken’ is a dwarf, low-spreading, somewhat weeping/pendulous male form that grows very slowly, and may eventually reach 1m tall by 2.5m wide. The foliage, although smaller in size, is dense and cup shaped in appearance with the same fan shape and equally stunning golden yellow autumn colour as its parent plant.

History: Native to China, a Ginkgo biloba tree is capable of living up to 2000 years old. This cultivar originated as witch's broom found in 1995 by Piet Vergeldt in Kronenburger Park, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.

Ginkgo Growing Tips: Grow in well-drained soil with a full sun position.
