Ginkgo biloba ‘Fastigiata’ Ginkgo

Ginkgo

Description: A column-shaped selection with a narrow, column-shaped crown. This unusual deciduous conifer has emerald green fan-shaped leaves approximately 4-7cm wide which turn a striking golden-yellow in autumn. Small, catkin-like, greenish-yellow male flowers open in spring. Often used in street plantings both in Britain and abroad and there are many spectacular specimens lining the streets of inner London! Ginkgo biloba 'Fastigiata' is a handsome tree for small gardens, as the narrow habit takes up little garden space.
