Magnolia laevifolia Fairy White ‘MicJur05’

Description: A semi-evergreen variety with an upright growth habit, perfect for hedging, flowering from a young age. The pure white blooms appear in early spring and can continue through into summer.

History: Raised by the New Zealand breeder Mark Jury.

Magnolia Growing Tips: Full sun to part shade lover, best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Provide sheltered site as buds and flowers may be damaged by cold winds, and late frosts. Shape and size can be controlled by pruning which should be done either immediately after flowering or during late summer.
