Description: Large, upright flowers that are bright pink outside and white with a pink flush within. Apically dominant so eventually forms an upright tree.

History: Created in 1976 by Phil Savage, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

Magnolia Growing Tips: Full sun to part shade lover, best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Provide sheltered site as buds and flowers may be damaged by cold winds, and late frosts. Shape and size can be controlled by pruning which should be done either immediately after flowering or during late summer.
