Description: An upright, compact, large shrub or small tree with pretty flowers of purest white, held upright on the bare branches.
History: Bred in the 1970’s by Phil Savage, and named for Lu Shan Botanic Garden, China.
Magnolia Growing Tips: Full sun to part shade lover, best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Provide sheltered site as buds and flowers may be damaged by cold winds, and late frosts. Shape and size can be controlled by pruning which should be done either immediately after flowering or during late summer.
