Description: Attractive, fragrant, small, double-white flowers on a compact and bushy plant. The outer petals are shorter than the inner ones giving each bloom a charming, rounded appearance.

History: Seedling of M. x loebneri ‘Ballerina’, bred by Tetsuo Magaki, Japan. Received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit in 2012.

Magnolia Growing Tips: Full sun to part shade lover, best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Provide sheltered site as buds and flowers may be damaged by cold winds, and late frosts. Shape and size can be controlled by pruning which should be done either immediately after flowering or during late summer.
