Description: Magnolia 'Rose Marie' is a pyramidal, columnar, small tree that blooms from an early age and can last up to six weeks. Upright, broad, cup and saucer shaped blooms are rosy pink on the exterior and medium pink on the interior of the tepals, with a lemon fragrance. Deep green foliage follows the flowers in late spring.

Magnolia Growing Tips: Full sun to part shade lover, best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Provide sheltered site as buds and flowers may be damaged by cold winds, and late frosts. Shape and size can be controlled by pruning which should be done either immediately after flowering or during late summer.
