Pinus parviflora ‘Negishi’ Pine

Description: A compact upright plant with an open branching structure, often used for bonsai. Slightly twisted, dark blue-green, needle-like leaves, white beneath with small, ovoid brown cones in autumn.

History: A Japanese selection. Received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.

Pinus Growing Tips: Requires moist but well-drained soil and a sunny position. Copes with all soil types.
