Description: Lovely small tree or large upright shrub, with semi-double, almond-scented, white, flushed pink flowers appearing in February. Foliage is small, mid-green and slightly glossy with orange and yellow autumn colour.

History: Native to China and Korea, and was introduced into cultivation in Japan, where it became one of the most widely grown garden trees.

Prunus Growing Tips: Best grown in well-drained soil, in full sun to achieve the best flower display and autumn colour. Will tolerate most soil types including chalk and clay.
