Sorbus 'Ghose'

Mountain Ash and Whitebeam

Description: A superb small tree of upright habit with large, sharply serrated, slightly bluish-green leaves emerging downy, turning gold and red in autumn. Flat clusters of creamy-white flowers in spring are followed by large bunches of small rose-red fruits.

Sorbus Growing Tips: Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. Hardy and tolerant of urban pollution and coastal conditions.

Height and Spread (after 10 years): 4m x 3m
