Mountain Ash and Whitebeam

Description: A vigorous, upright, columnar tree with deeply veined, fern-like leaves, which change to brilliant orange and red in autumn. The flowers are pure white in late spring and early summer, and will form loose clusters which are followed by brilliant red to yellow fruits in the autumn.

History: Native to parts of China and Korea.

Sorbus Growing Tips: Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. Hardy and tolerant of urban pollution and coastal conditions.
