Frank P Matthews Wins RHS Gold Medal At Malvern Autumn Show

We are delighted to announce that Frank P Matthews has been awarded an RHS Gold Medal for our fruit display at the Malvern Autumn Show! It’s a proud moment for the entire team, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have our hard work recognised at such a prestigious event.

Our display this year was something truly special, featuring over 300 different apple varieties, all carefully grown in our own orchards. These apples, handpicked specifically for the show, represent a huge part of what we do and our passion for preserving and showcasing the vast diversity of British fruit trees. But it’s not just apples—our display also includes beautiful pears, crabapples, and Sorbus, adding even more variety and colour to the exhibition.

This recognition means a great deal to us because it highlights the dedication and care that goes into every tree we grow. We’ve been working hard for many years to nurture these varieties and share the best of British-grown fruit trees with customers, and receiving a Gold Medal from the RHS is a testament to that.

The display will be moved to Tenbury Applefest this weekend, we’d love for you to come by and see the display for yourself.
