Memorial Tree Planting for Queen Elizabeth II 13/10/2022 Last week, we planted a Common Oak tree on the nursery to honour Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and to acknowledge her tremendous work and dedication during her reign.Over the years, The Queen was very supportive of the horticultural industry and tree growing. We supplied many trees for the grounds of the Royal households including Buckingham Palace and Sandringham for Her Majesty to enjoy. King Charles has extended The Queen’s Green Canopy initiative until the end of March 2023 to give people the opportunity to plant trees in memory of Her Majesty. We are also advisors and suppliers of trees for this project, so do get in touch if you have any tree enquiries.
