Description:  Vigorous, spreading, multi-stemmed deciduous shrub or small tree with rough, exfoliating, brown bark and ovate dark green leaves that turn red-purple in autumn. Yellow flowers are produced in loose umbels, followed by edible bright-red fruits.

Cornus Growing Tips: Thrives in fertile, humus-rich, neutral to acid soil. Unsuitable for shallow, chalky soils.
