Aesculus pavia var discolor 'Koehnei'

Description: Aesculus pavia var discolor 'Koehnei', also known as Dwarf Red Buckeye is an unusual, slow-growing dwarf chestnut. It's leaves emerge bronzy-red in the spring and stunning pink and yellow flowers in the early summer. Smooth, light brown fruits appear in the autumn, although it can be an irregular crop. Suitable as a specimen in large gardens and parks.

Aesculus Growing Tips: Most varieties require a lot of space to grow. Thrive in almost any well drained soils. Prefer to be planted in full sun or partial shade.
