Parentage: Cox's Orange Pippin x Court Pendu Plat

Description: Ballerina Flamenco, also known as Ballerina Obelisk is the is the best quality apple of the Ballerina range with a very columnar habit and no side branches. The apples are born on spurs on the central stem, creating an upright effect which makes it perfect for small spaces and patios. Fruits are bright red skinned that have a crisp, sharp white refreshing flesh. Delicious when cooked into apple tarts, apple crumbles or sauces. Stunning white blossom with a hint of pink accross the petals in the spring.

History: Developed by R. Watkins and K. Tobutt at the East Malling Research Station, Kent in 1992.
