Description: Court Pendu Plat is one of the oldest recorded dessert varieties that is widely grown in Europe. Known as the Wise Apple because of it's late flowering missing the spring frosts. Skin is greenish-yellow flushed orange-red. Rich, fruity, strong pineapple-like acidity mellows to become sweet – holds flavour well until February. Known for centuries as the most delicious dessert apple!

History: Found growing among Gallo-Roman ruins at Mandeure in Doubs, France in the late 16th Century.
