Description: Knights Early Black is an old traditional variety. Produces a mass of black, round to heart shaped fruit with dark red juice hanging on long 'strigs'. Richly fruit, sweet and aromatic. Reasonably split and bacterial disease resistance.

History: Developed by Mr Thomas Andrew Knight in Herefordshire.
