Cornelian Cherry (Cornus) mas Kasanlak Cornelian Cherry

Description: Slightly acid fruit not unlike Morello cherry and with a complex, fragrant flavour. Are good raw, cooked or dried. Have large fruits for making into highly nutritious jellies and compotes. They also have attractive, small but abundant yellow flowers in February to cheer the winter landscape.
