Reine Claude Doree Gage

Description: Reine Claude Doree is a traditional French gage often seen in supermarkets. Fruits are round, green-yellow in appearance. Firm, juicy and very sweet; a delicious flavour.

History: Bred in France. Brought to the UK during the 18th century. Thought to be one of the oldest varieties.
