Invincible delwinor fertilia ® Pear

Pear

Description: Invincible is well named because it is tough and hardy, setting heavy crops each year and will often produce a second flowering after a heavy frost. The fruit quality is fair with a host of dessert and cooking options. Green in colour with yellow flush and sweet, soft and juicy flesh. The strength is in its yield and precocity. Would make an ideal pollinator for other varieties in a similar flowering period. Ideal for exposed areas where a pear tree is a must.

History: Introduced from the Delbard Nursery in France during the 19th century.
