Description: Methley, also known as Prunus salicina is one of the best of the Japanese plums. Dark purple in colour with unusual blood red flesh and juice. A refreshing little plum, extremely juicy and sweet with mild flavour. Can be eaten fresh or cooked into jams, puddings and cakes.
