Parentage: Ortenauer x President

Description: Presenta is a very late variety with good keeping quality. This early flowering plum is self fertile so requires no pollinating partner to set a crop. The fruit maturing time very late, mid September bringing the plum season to a close. Oblong-oval dark blue-red fruit around 32-36mm and 28-37g. The fresh is firm and juicy and has a good aromatic flavour and can be stored in coldstorage for 6-8 weeks.  Plum pox resistant.

History: Bred by Dr Walter Hartmann, University of Hohenheim, Germany in 1981
